Premium for glazing 2021 (Belgium)

Anyone who invests in new glazing can receive a premium.

The Skylux flat roof windows meet the conditions and are therefore eligible for an insulation premium of up to € 56/m²!

This year, Flemish Minister of Energy Zuhal Demir is releasing up to 300 million euros in regular and recovery budgets to shape the Flemish renovation strategy. With energy-efficient buildings, everyone wins: the owners, the construction sector, the climate and the energy bill.

The way in which glazing lets heat through (or does not let it through) is expressed in a U-value. For example, high-performance glass with a U-value of 1.0 insulates two to three times better than ordinary double glazing with a U-value of 2.9.

What are the conditions for the glazing premium?

• newly installed glazing with a U-value less than or equal to 1.0 W/m²K;
• placed in a space that can be heated or in an adjacent space (protected volume);
• glazing of verandas is not eligible;
• placed by a contractor;
• final invoice in 2021.

• the year of the final invoice determines the premium conditions that apply;
• Only invoices that are no more than 2 years old at the time of the premium application are eligible;
